Stunning and rare II Colonnato dining table in solid Travertino Romano by Mario Bellini for Cassina, circa 1977. This rare table was only made for a few years, from 1977 through 1980. The Travertine table top with its Ogee edge is raised on five slightly bulging profile cylindrical columns. This was the most dramatic of the designs with this large number of columns that can be arranged in any configuration. The five columns accentuate the image of a Roman Colonnade.
