A new series of artwork by multidisciplinary artist Jodi Newnham. 'Artefact' is part of a series of copper metal artworks. Taking this alluring medium and manipulating it into unique forms that may represent unearthed bits of objects or decarded industrial parts is obscure. Various patinas are applied and left for periods of time to weather naturally as they would in nature. Washing away the patina is like washing away the debris of a found object while exposing beautiful and unexpected color changes that have occurred.
As a Triptych you can arrange as you like on a wall.
