Designed by the late Austrian designer Paul Frankl. Frankl began his career in Vienna as an architect he then later moved to New York while finally residing in Los Angeles where he opened a showroom gallery on Rodeo Drive with many of his clients being the Hollywood Elite. Known for his early art deco designs he came to the USA with a fresh perspective which allowed him to forge a uniquely American design aesthetic He became known for his early use of biomorphic designs and novel materials such as cork veneer. His pieces such as the biomorphic cork table are highly sort after among collectors and designers today. This beautiful dresser is just another example of his enduring and timeless designs.
